MySQL 5.0.anything is end-of-life as of last December 31. MySQL 5.2 is not and never has been a general-availability production release, and you should not be using it in production. My advice to you would be to go to http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql and download the latest MySQL 5.5 RPMs for RHEL6/CentOS6/Oracle Linux 6. The current GA version is 5.5.25a. -- Phil Stracchino, CDK#2 DoD#299792458 ICBM: 43.5607, -71.355 ala...@caerllewys.net ala...@metrocast.net p...@co.ordinate.org Renaissance Man, Unix ronin, Perl hacker, SQL wrangler, Free Stater It's not the years, it's the mileage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
