Hello,
We have a working Bacula ( Release 2.2.7) setup. We have been using LTO-3 tapes.
Recently we have purchased another tape library Eternus LT40. LTO3 tapes are
said to be compatible with this new library.
We have configured Bacula 5.2.6 onto it.
Now we would like to verify if the backed up tapes on the old tapelibrary are
readable in new tapelibrary.
Can we simply take out the tape from a single pool and insert it into new tape
library to be able to read?
Or are there any required steps to be performed for this operation?
We tried to find out the help topics related to this but did not find any
relevant information.
Please assist.
