Note that raw volume (without catalog) can be used to re-create catalogs entries but this a time consumming process, that make your backups less (quickly) usable. As I said aboce, not directly, you need to first recover the catalog.Is it possible to restore if i do like that... I think this is a generally a bad idea, unless you use it in disaster situation only.And what if i run a job that backups this folder path (means backups the whole NAS) to tape .. in this case all these Bacula volumes going to be stored inside another large Bacula volume in tape.. is that make any sense..
