Thanks thomas and Pietro,
Ill try to follow your instructions and feedback my succés (or not J ) De: Thomas Ruth [mailto:tr...@ichaos.com] Enviado el: martes, 06 de septiembre de 2011 19:32 Para: bacula-users@lists.sourceforge.net Asunto: Re: [Bacula-users] Does anyone has backed up vmdk's of anESXi? You can't install Bacula on ESXi, it's not a Linux system (it's a Busybox system running on top of the VMware vmkernel). Someone will have to develop a plugin that allows Bacula to use the VMware Consolidated Backup API to properly back up VM's. The procedure would be to use the API to call either a vCenter Server or ESXi host to snapshot the VM, use the NFC (Network File Copy) hooks to copy the vmdk file to tape or local disk, then remove the snapshot when done. It's possible with some fancy scripting, you can run scripts within Bacula to do those things.
