Hi, after upgrading to Debian 6.0.2 I get the Follow Error Message spams
in Syslog and the Backup Fails:
Jul 2 21:36:52 xxxxxxxx kernel: [473641.424960] st0: Failed to read
2621440 byte block with 1999999 byte transfer.
Jul 2 21:41:52 xxxxxxxx kernel: [473941.486639] st0: Failed to read
2621440 byte block with 1999999 byte transfer.
Jul 2 21:46:52 xxxxxxxx kernel: [474241.548092] st0: Failed to read
2621440 byte block with 1999999 byte transfer.
Jul 2 21:51:52 xxxxxxxx kernel: [474541.609466] st0: Failed to read
2621440 byte block with 1999999 byte transfer.
Jul 2 21:56:52 xxxxxxxx kernel: [474841.671004] st0: Failed to read
2621440 byte block with 1999999 byte transfer.
Jul 2 22:01:52 xxxxxxxx kernel: [475141.732920] st0: Failed to read
2621440 byte block with 1999999 byte transfer.
1999999 is our configured Blocksize in the bacula Config. I cant Backup
atm :(
Maybe its another Error Message for the Buffer Overflow Error that I
sometimes have before the Dist Upgrade:
(second Error)
xxxxxxxxxx kernel: [452173.632081] st: from_buffer offset overflow.
xxxxxxxxxx kernel: [452173.632085] st: from_buffer offset overflow.
xxxxxxxxxx kernel: [452173.632087] st: from_buffer offset overflow.
It looks like the second Error is gone and the First comes. I hope someone can
help me :)
Thanks and Regards
Tobias

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
