There are hardware RAIT controllers available from Ultera (http://www.ultera.com/tapesolutions.htm). A RAIT level 0 array would allow a "volume" to be a group of two tapes with the data striped across the two tapes, essentially doubling read/write throughput, just like RAID-0. But to the OS, and Bacula, the RAIT-0 array looks like a single device. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable. Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense. http://p.sf.net/sfu/splunk-d2d-c2 _______________________________________________ Bacula-users mailing list Bacula-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bacula-users
