Hi all, I chose to change storage server for bacula backup. What I did, was simply to copy the direcotry containing the archive files to the new server.
The old server dir was 'Archive Device = /mnt/dati/bacula'. I copied it by 'rsync -a'; I installed bacula-sd and copied the configuration of the old server and restarted bacula-sd. Note: the folder path is the same. The last night, backup started but blocked at the first job. On bacula-tray-monitor I read ----------------- Running Jobs: Writing: Full Backup job bkp-DC-2003 JobId=624 Volume="main-0112" pool="main-pool" device="sd-device-mainbkp-1" (/mnt/dati/bacula) spooling=0 despooling=0 despool_wait=0 Files=0 Bytes=0 Bytes/sec=0 FDReadSeqNo=6 in_msg=6 out_msg=4 fd=6 ==== Jobs waiting to reserve a drive: ==== Terminated Jobs: ==== Device status: Device "sd-device-mainbkp-1" (/mnt/dati/bacula) is not open.
