Hello ! We had some database troubles and decided to recreate the catalog with bscan.
It worked nicely with our disk-volumes. It took a while and created an impressive 15GB MySQL-tmpfile for each of the big 1.5TB volumes - but it worked without problems. It also flawlessly read 2.5TB of incremental Backups (in 70 separate volumes) without a hitch. But now i´m starting to scan our tape volumes and i´m running into a strange problem. I reproduced this with 3 different tapes on a dedicated LTO-5 drive and on both internal drives of our Tape Library. ---- snip ---- bscan -V 000004L5 -v -m -s -c /etc/bacula/bacula-sd.conf TL-LTO5-2 [... lots of good output here ...] bscan: bscan.c:1246 Created JobMedia record JobId 7132, MediaId 135 bscan: bscan.c:1016 Created Client record for Client: feywa.test.riege.de-fd bscan: bscan.c:1099 Created new JobId=7133 record for original JobId=237013 bscan: bscan.c:683 98,304 file records.
