Hi, I think you are right John, when I checked my log file it is showing
Error termination: Please correct configuration file: /etc/bacula/bacula-dir.conf Fatar error: could not open catalog "MyCatalog" Fatar error: mysql.c : unable to connect to database=bacula user=bacula MySQL connect failed either server not running or your authorization is incorrect SO I think I need to configure mysql as well with bacula-dir as you said. Correct? And where are the steps to configure it ? Regards, Laxansh -----Original Message----- From: John Drescher [mailto:dresche...@gmail.com] Sent: 26 January 2011 14:14 To: Laxansh K. Did you setup, create and configure the bacula database. I would stop bacula then open a terminal and execute the following command and see what messages it prints: bacula-dir -d 100 -c /etc/bacula/bacula-dir.conf John ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Special Offer-- Download ArcSight Logger for FREE (a $49 USD value)!
