Hi, I've run into an issue that has me puzzled. On a laptop I run bacula-dir, bacula-fd and bacula-sd versions: bacula-dir Version: 5.0.0 (26 January 2010) i686-pc-linux-gnu suse 5.x bacula-sd Version: 5.0.0 (26 January 2010) i686-pc-linux-gnu suse 5.x laptop-fd Version: 5.0.0 (26 January 2010) i686-pc-linux-gnu suse 5.x
The configuration files are: bacula-dir.conf: http://pastie.org/1202276 bacula-sd.conf: http://pastie.org/1202274 bacula-fd.conf: http://pastie.org/1202272 On a desktop I run bacula-fd version: desktop-eth1-fd Version: 5.0.1 (24 February 2010) x86_64-pc-linux-gnu ubuntu 10.04 The configuration file is: bacula-fd.conf: http://pastie.org/1202281 The laptop job runs correctly to completion, the console messages are: http://pastie.org/1202282 However the Desktop does not, the console messages are: http://pastie.org/1202284 Specifically, desktop files are backed up but after this bacula complains 'Volume "xyz" already exists.' Comparing messages from the two jobs it does seem that the laptop-fd (5.0.0) has an additional step "Wrote label to prelabeled Volume". This is not present in the desktop fd messages. The only other difference seems to be that in the desktop job there is this warning: sql_create.c:1053 More than one Filename! 2 for file: xorg.conf.backup However, the desktop job seems to progress without incident until after the files are backed up and then I get the stream of errors: 06-Oct 04:45 bacula-dir JobId 548: Error: sql_create.c:400 Volume "Full-MVDesktop-2010-10-06" already exists. Is this a bug, or operator/configuration error? I'd appreciate any insights or suggestions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Beautiful is writing same markup.
