I meant migrate loosely ... not the bacula specific function ... Basically 
suggesting he use your idea and then trim the fat from each SD.

Migrate & Copy work within the same SD.

"Migration is only implemented for a single Storage daemon. You cannot 
read on one Storage daemon and write on another. "
