We have several systems running various versions of bacula and libraries, all without issues: - Old one #1 :from memory, a quantum 2 drive , 20 slot LTO3 library , SCSI interface - old one #2 : ibm/quantum 1 drive, 7 slot LTO3 library, SCSI interface - new one (2 month old ) , quantum scalar i500, 3 drives (HP) , 129 slots + 6 exchangers, LTO4, fibre interface. make sure you spec up the host that is connected to your drive to be able to push data fast enough. And yes, definitely go with LTO4 unless you have a real good reason not to.
