The Bacula version in Ubuntu is relatively old: 2.4.4 (28 December 2008). I tried it with a most recent 5.0.0 file dameon, but it doesn't work (Fatal error: File daemon at "client:9102" rejected Hello command). I cannot find Windows 2.x client on the download page, the oldest version is 3.x there. Am I missing something? I read at some places that the director must be newer, at another places that the client must be newer.
