It was a "LaCie 2big network". It took a bit of effort to figure out how to get access to get bacula-sd installed, but it's actually been running quite well ever since. And, yes, I actually DID put in a request for bacula-sd natively included in the factory software. I got the usual "thank you for your input" (i.e. "yeah, whatever.") message back. Nuts to 'em, I say - I'll do it myself. I'm pretty sure I've seen instructions for setting up bacula-sd on a Western Digital "MyBook World Edition" NAS as well. Hypothetically any Linux-based NAS ought to be able to handle similar modifications. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Throughout its 18-year history, RSA Conference consistently attracts the world's best and brightest in the field, creating opportunities for Conference attendees to learn about information security's most important issues through interactions with peers, luminaries and emerging and established companies. http://p.sf.net/sfu/rsaconf-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Bacula-users mailing list Bacula-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bacula-users
