That's definitely the solution I would vote for. There are scripts and documentation available for moving in that direction... the other one is generally less supported and no doubt you'll need to eventually upgrade anyway. Upgrading clients is generally foolproof anyway, incidentally. For CentOS/RHEL machines in particular, I've just installed the new RHEL package and everything's been fine. Basically, the moral of the whole story is that the Director and Storage Daemon need to be running the same version. For me, that's the same host so this is easy to remember, but otherwise one must just keep it in mind. - -- ---- _ _ _ _ ___ _ _ _ |Y#| | | |\/| | \ |\ | | |Ryan Novosielski - Systems Programmer II |$&| |__| | | |__/ | \| _| |novos...@umdnj.edu - 973/972.0922 (2-0922) \__/ Univ. of Med. and Dent.|IST/CST - NJMS Medical Science Bldg - C630 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAksT9FQACgkQmb+gadEcsb5TAQCg1I2nFLaLHSyiqYbDDtXXiqEA cRMAn0YbqAap2d7qMc3bSpBOHuHt6BGW =whzT -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
