Hello, does forbidding concurrent Jobs (Maximum Concurrent Jobs = 1) only working for job of the same type (like backup job one after another)?
If a verify job with an lower priority follows a backup job, the verify job waits because it has an lower priority. But the timer for "max wait time" seems to start, if the verify job went into the status "waiting for higher priority jobs to finish". Is this as it should be? For instance: All Job in queue and the first is running: 24 Full backup_server_incl_pgdump_to_files.2009-09-30_01.01.00_24 is running 25 Full backup_bacula_catalog.2009-09-30_01.02.00_40 is waiting execution 26 VolumeT verify_server_incl_pgdump_to_files.2009-09-30_01.03.00_56 is waiting execution First Job has been finished, second Backup is running. Verify waits because of lower priority: 25 Full backup_bacula_catalog.2009-09-30_01.02.00_40 is running 26 VolumeT verify_server_incl_pgdump_to_files.2009-09-30_01.03.00_56 is waiting for higher priority jobs to finish During the second Backup, the verifyjob is canceled because of "max wait time" timeout: 25 Full backup_bacula_catalog.2009-09-30_01.02.00_40 is running 26 VolumeT verify_server_incl_pgdump_to_files.2009-09-30_01.03.00_56 has been canceled Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards Markus Kress System Technologies GLS IT-Services GmbH GLS Germany-Straße 1-7 36286 Neuenstein Germany T +49 (0) 66 77 17 426 M +49 (0) 172 1781 426 F +49 (0) 66 77 17 486 E markus.kr...@gls-itservices.com ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ GLS IT Services GmbH Sitz: Neuenstein, Amtsgericht Bad Hersfeld HRB 388, Geschäftsführer: Rüdiger Schmahl ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Come build with us!
