Hello, I've a questuion about "Max Wait Time". When does the "Max Wait Time" start? I'm using Bacula 3.0.2 and have the following scheduling:
1:00 some preparing (admin job) 1:01 filesystem backup (with Priority = 30) 1:02 backup of bacula catalog (with Priority = 35) My setting are: Maximum Concurrent Jobs = 1(bacula-dir.conf,bacula-sd.conf and bacula-fd.conf) Max Run Sched Time = 12 hours Max Run Time = 6 hours Max Wait Time = 5 minutes Max Start Delay = 6 hours At 1:00: "Prepare Job" starts and is in status "running" "Filessystem backup" is in status "waiting execution" "backup of bacula catalog" is in status "waiting execution" At 1:01: "Prepare Job" is not finished "Filessystem backup" is in status "waiting for higher priority jobs to finish" "backup of bacula catalog" is in status "waiting execution" At 1:02: "Prepare Job" is finished "Filessystem backup" is in status "running" "backup of bacula catalog" has status "waiting for higher priority jobs to finish". At 1:07: "Filessystem backup" is still in status "running" "backup of bacula catalog" has been canceled by bacula, because "Max Wait Time" is reached. My question: Why does the "Wait Time" begins, though the job is in status "waiting for higher priority jobs to finish"? I need a timeout after the Job is in "running" status. Did I forget to set a parameter or what can I do to archive this?
