As much as I like IBM unix hardware, how about OS/2 Warp? Windows 3.11, Windows ME, Coherent... A big company must satisify its users in general (or its stock holders). That said, you may not get your feature, or even bug fix, when you want it. An open source product, if you see a bug fix it.
