The "update status" from "error" to "append" failed. Took the tapes out of the library, checked physically and put it back in the slots, updated the slots and still not working. Tried the CLI "mt -f /dev/nstX eod" command on both tapes from each drive but that also failed with "input output error" message. In the process of erasing one tape since the data there is not important. The question is, how do I retrieve data from the other tape? Thanks.
