I do have one question. Was the correct tape actually loaded in the drive when this error occurred? How long does your tape drive take to rewind a tape? Is it possible that the rewind time + autochanger unload time + autochanger load time was greater than 5 minutes? Also I believe you can make this 5 minute limit larger.
