I just tried to simulate a database crash and disaster recovery and came
to the point with restoring database with bacula-console and bootstrap file.

The documentation
http://bacula.org/en/dev-manual/Restore_Command.html#database_restore
shows the possibility to restore within console so I tried this in favor
to the bextract command line tool

When it comes to run the restore job it always failed with this error
message:

28-Feb 19:30 trac-test-dir JobId 4: Start Restore Job
restore_files.2008-02-28_19.29.13

which sound resaonable to me as this volume isn't created in database.
I don't see any way to create this volume by hand and imo the only way
is to use bextract.

Can you give me some feedback on it?
