yes, there is DNS. Doesn't seem to make a difference though.

fileset sample in win32 bacula have nice sample of dynamic directory even
drive.
One fileset for all, and 25 jobs

Do you have any name resolution on the network ...
aka a dns server ???
if you could resolve name by dns is a easy think. If you don't have (sound
too stange for 21st century)
ask your network administrator.
