Hi.

OS: CentOS 5.1
Bacula Version: 2.28
SQL: PostgreSQL
Issue: I believe I have finally got bacula mostly configured. Mostly
because I still have on last issue. I am able to start all the daemons,
thats all fine, but I can't connect to the director via console.
So, I go ./bconsole, and I get this in return:

Connecting to Director 23.23.23.xx:9102
Director authorization problem.
Most likely the passwords do not agree.
If you are using TLS, there may have been a certificate validation error
during the TLS handshake.

Here's what I HAVE tried:
-restarted bacula services (./bacula restart)
-changed each .conf file (console, dir, sd, fd) so the password was "test".

-verified all IP settings/name settings are correct

Now... I'm not using TLS to my knowledge. In fact, I've never heard of it.
For what its worth, the console and director are both on the same system -
so even if TLS was in place - it doesn't make sense to me that it would be
affecting this. Who knows.

I've googled tons but can't find much information on the subject which leads
me to believe I am missing something obvious. Are there any other places
passwords are stored that I am missing?

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

Justin Francesconi
