I have a problem mounting tape right after booting fedora 7 with bacula 2.2.8. I would appreciate to get some comments before issueing a bug report.
After booting without a tape volume I insert a tape in the tape streamer and issue a mount command. After 8-10 minutes I get an error message that the tape could not be mounted. The bconsole shows the following: [EMAIL PROTECTED] conf]# strace ./bconsole 2> mount.log Connecting to Director 192.168.1.104:9101 1000 OK: epo-dir Version: 2.2.8 (26 January 2008) Enter a period to cancel a command. *mount Tape Automatically selected Catalog: MyCatalog Using Catalog "MyCatalog" 3901 open device failed: ERR=dev.c:433 Unable to open device "Tape" (/dev/nst0): ERR=No such file or directory * I can send the strace if someone would like to see it. Unfortunately I don't know myself how to decipher it :-( -- Erik. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
