Hello,
I am responsible for managing backups at a K-12 school district that maintains
a fairly large server farm. This server farm consists mainly of Linux servers,
with a few Windows application servers, and three or four major NetWare file
servers.
I am planning on moving the NetWare servers to Linux, but need to keep the NSS
file system (which is Novell specific). I searched the list for NSS backup
info, but didn't find much. Here are my questions:
1) Is anyone using Bacula to backup a Novell NSS file system?
2) Is there any progress on backup up NSS natively?
3) If the answer to 2) is no, I may try to work on adding some NSS
capabilities. I just wanted to make sure that I wouldn't be duplicating an
existing project; or attempting to add capabilities that are architecturally
bad/unnecessary.
