I have been unable to configure Bacula 2.2.7. Error message was: configure:3138: error: C preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check See `config.log' for more details.
And config.log has many messages like: configure:3069: S? = 1 configure: failed program was: | /* condefs.h. */ config.log is attached.Further information: the OS is linux fedora 7 newly generated and fully updated. The configure command was:
CFLAGS="-g -Wall" ./configure --sbindir=/etc/bacula/bin --sysconfdir=/etc/bacula/conf --with-pid-dir=/etc/bacula/pid --with-subsys-dir=/etc/bacula/subsys --with-mysql --with-working-dir=/etc/bacula/working --with-dump-email=erik --enable-gnome --enable-wx-console --enable-smartalloc --enable-bat --with-qwt=/usr/lib
Two more problems with same configure:1. According to the manual BAT requires Qt4, libqt4 and libqt4-devel but and that they come bundled with Fedora. But only qt4 is included with Fedora 7 and I can't find libqt4 and libqt4-devel on the same repository as qt4. I need further clarification of this point.
2. BAT also requires qwt the directory of which should be specified by --with-qwt. I am, however, not sure what should be in that directory. The example in the manual gives --with-qwt=/usr/share/lib/qwt-5.0.2 if it has been installed in /usr/lib. This is odd, I have it installed in /usr/lib but I have no /usr/share/lib/qwt-5.0.2 directory or file. Please also clarify this point.
