the aforementioned pools are very well organized, and i would rather leave them be. i am willing to put the two jobs i want to run concurrently on different tape drives, but *not* different pools. will just the different tape drives help? btw, concurrent jobs seems to be working with the same host, but not dissimilar hosts. that may help in debugging > John > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
