To do that you want to set Maximum Volume Bytes in your Pool resource to something much smaller than the free space on your hard drive. I set mine to 2G (2 gigabytes). On top of that you could limit the number of volumes in the pool by the Maximum Volumes directive which is also in the Pool resource. This way you can limit the maximum space that bacula volumes will take.
