My Apologies,
I was too fast in sending the mail: encryption does work. I was working from bconsole and assumed it was reading from tape but it was reading from the database. When I actually did the restore I got the error. Putting the keys back in place and uncommenting the PKI directives gave me my file in perfect working order. Thanks anyway, Arjen.
