Yes, that is a good point, and I have noted it. I'm also considering (if I didn't mention it above) adding different retention times for different Job Levels. Some users want their Fulls to remain a long time, but not their Incremental or Differential records ... > > For example it would be useful if you want to make a job for archiving > unused files and keep the catalog information about that job forever. You can do that two ways once the above is implemented: 1. Setup a longer retention period for Archive Jobs. 2. Once a Volume is ready for Archiving mark it as Archived, that will prevent the Volume records from being pruned, or the Volume from being used in any way. > > __Martin > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > SF.Net email is sponsored by: > Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace. > It's the best place to buy or sell services > for just about anything Open Source. > http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;164216239;13503038;w?http://sf.net/marketplac >e _______________________________________________ > Bacula-devel mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bacula-devel ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
