An X windows session nor a VMware instance was run between the last two
crashes.

The computer is connected to UPS and no other components were shut off.
I have witnessed this crash while running a manual backup. The system
only crashes when bacula is running. I have not come to any conclusions
to what might cause the crash, for example if it is a specific
directory, specific file, specific client, etc. Only that a bacula job
has been kicked off every time before the system crashes.

I don't think it is the power supply. Running bacula causes the crash.
The machine only crashes when bacula is involved. This machine does not
do 24x7 backups. Full backups, for 3 clients, take at most 6 hours.
Incremental backups for these same 3 clients takes about 20 minutes.
Bacula may not be the root cause of the problem, but it is definitely
indirectly the cause of the problem.

Yes.

I may have to try upgrading the kernel, but that would not be a trivial
task in the servers current configuration.
