Hi, all. sorry for poor english. Have the following problem: when restore, windows host, have other 8.3 filenames for long files, than was at original filesystem. Seems order of creation files/dirs matter. forexample, original host folders - 8.3 names: Microsoft Office - MICROS~1 Microsoft SQL Server - MICROS~2 Microsoft.NET - MICROS~3
names suffix numbers in sequence as dirs was created (think also possible holes in numbering if file/dir will be erased). when restore get another order of names suffix numbers, seems in order as dirs created by restore. this cause trouble when something rely on 8.3 filepath (mssql server service path to exe, in my case).
