I guess using the command prune on the pool which the volume you want to
recycle is, will do. In other words, just prune the pool having the volume
in question. If you don't know the exact volume, try prune all pools, it'll
just change the volumes which have expired.

You could use a script in cron, which will send a prune command to all pools
in your Bacula configuration.

By the way, I'm wanting a script that displays which tape is needed to put
in the device, could you send yours?
