Hi,
Am I supposed to be able enter commands with bat?

I selected 'console' from the tree and then typed, but nothing seemed to
happen.

Gentoo, X64. 2.6.22.

I am running gentoo as well:
 emerge --info
Portage 2.1.3.9 (default-linux/amd64/2007.0, gcc-4.2.2/amd64-vanilla,
glibc-2.5-r4, 2.6.20-vs2.2.0-gentoo x86_64)

Anyways I reinstalled because I forgot to mask the portage version of
bacula ( since my ebuild has had bat for many months) and right after
installing I ran bat and clicked console and then typed status dir on
the line at the bottom the that starts with Command: and it worked as
expected.
