No configuration options, and no options to ./configure here.

It might be technically possible to backport the changes Kern made 
with respect to file seeking vs. file reading to 2.0. As there was 
code aloow fseek'ing in earlier versions which was buggy that might 
even be rather simple.

But, given all the other fixes and improvements, I'd rather spend my 
time on planning and doing an upgrade to 2.2.5 instead...
