In Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 the VSS Writer for Exchange is turned off by default. To turn it on, please see the following link: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q838183 VSS and Exchange: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822896/ Also, somewhere in Microsfot, there's the outline of a a procedure for backing up individual mailboxes.
