Usually, the FC connected versions work without problems. That is, provided they show up as normal SCSI devices in the OS, which is the regular case. Depending on driver settings, you might find some difficulties. It is my understanding that a full SAN with multi-pathing can be a problem - directly connected HBA and autochanger should work ok, though.
