The "Catalog" >FileSet in the bacula-dir.conf.rpmnew also has the following directive: " >File = /var/lib/bacula/bacula.sql". I think the actual problem was mixing the conf files from an older package, and using at the same time the new shell scripts from a newer package. Although many times this mix works well, right now there had been a change in directory paths. For me, it took a few days before I even noticed the same problem (just fixed it earlier this week). After installling updates, a good practice might be to compare the older-but-still-in-use ...conf files with the new ...conf.rpmnew files.
