Hi,

as you might have noticed, I published RPMs for Bacula 2.2.4 on Fedora {6,7}
and
CentOS {4,5} on i386 and x86_64.

Attention: Do not use the RPMs packages if you installed Bacula from the
official Fedora repositories or Fedora EPEL! You will need to uninstall these
RPMs before installing the RPMs from Sourceforge. If you are using Fedora, you
might want to wait a few weeks. Andreas told me he nearly finished porting the
official Fedora RPM packages to 2.2. AFAIK EPEL 4 and 5 will stay with a
(patched) 2.0.x.

No Fedora 5:
I did not build RPMs for Fedora 5 because the Fedora Project eol'd this version
of Fedora at the end of June [1]. If you are still using Fedora 5 (or even
older
versions) IMHO you should switch either to new versions of Fedora or use CentOS
if you need longer support cycles. However, if enough users demand FC5
packages,
I'm willing to build them at least for 2.2.4.

Platform specific notes:
Due to out-dated or missing packages, EL4 has no gui support:
  - The tray monitor does not build (GTK too old)
  - No wx-console (no wxGTK in Fedora EPEL 4)
  - no bat (no qt4 in Fedora EPEL 4)

I built bat for EL5, FC6 and F7 but due to a lack of testing, these packages
may
contain errors.

Have fun
fs
