You didn't say what version of Bacula you are using... So I will 
assume the latest.

Did you restart bacula-fd?

What does bacula-fd.conf look like?

encryption appears to be a FileSet directive, not a Job directive:

"It consists of a list of files or directories to be included, a list 
of files or directories to be excluded and the various backup options 
such as compression, encryption, and signatures that are to be 
applied to each file."

But that is the *only* mention of 'encrypt' on that page.

I don't know the answer.
