Hi, I've searched the mailinglist and documentation, but I haven't been able to find an answer on the following question:
I need to have a certain backup job run at an *exact* time. How do you do that? Since we have a lot of clients (130+) being backupped all evening and night, it looks like the job which is scheduled at that exact time only starts at the end of the queue. You'll see in the output below, that the jobs starts at 13:58, even though it should have run on 03:00... Pool: "Full-Pool" (From Run pool override) Storage: "client-oracle-sd" (From Job resource) Scheduled time: 01-Sep-2007 03:00:00 Start time: 01-Sep-2007 13:58:22 End time: 01-Sep-2007 15:58:56 Elapsed time: 2 hours 34 secs Priority: 10 The relevant schedule is: Schedule { Name = "RunMeAt3AMBackup" Run = Level=Full Pool=Full-Pool Priority=10 sat at 03:00 Run = Level=Incremental Pool=Incr-Sunday-Pool sun at 20:00 Run = Level=Incremental Pool=Incr-Monday-Pool mon at 20:00 Run = Level=Incremental Pool=Incr-Tuesday-Pool tue at 20:00 Run = Level=Incremental Pool=Incr-Wednesday-Pool wed at 20:00 Run = Level=Incremental Pool=Incr-Thursday-Pool thu at 20:00 Run = Level=Incremental Pool=Incr-Friday-Pool fri at 20:00 } The priority 10 is higher than those for other jobs. What am I doing wrong? We're using bacula 2.2.0. Concurrent jobs are enabled btw... TIA....
