Hi there,

I have this DVD backup on Bacula 2.0.3 that has taken 7 4.7GB DVD's.
Among those, there is this volume that shows:

| 60 | DVDVOL-0015 | Full | 1 | 5,478,552,645 | 1
| 31,536,000 | 0 | 0 | 0 | DVD | 2007-08-16
22:07:58 |

My DVD backup has a maximum part size of 800MB that would lead to 6
parts (5 of ~800MB and one of ~400MB). However, it shows:

-rw-r----- 1 root root 838849706 Aug 16 21:14 DVDVOL-0015
-rw-r----- 1 root root 838849527 Aug 16 21:20 DVDVOL-0015.2
-rw-r----- 1 root root 838849520 Aug 16 21:29 DVDVOL-0015.3
-rw-r----- 1 root root 838849514 Aug 16 21:39 DVDVOL-0015.4
-rw-r----- 1 root root 838849521 Aug 16 21:48 DVDVOL-0015.5
-rw-r----- 1 root root 838849497 Aug 16 21:58 DVDVOL-0015.6
-rw-r----- 1 root root 445455360 Aug 16 22:05 DVDVOL-0015.7

That is consistent with the +5GB(!) with the list volume info above.
The log shows that there was no incident, except for the pseudo-extra
free space. And all other volumes have the correct sizes. There is no
read error but the volume is useless as bacula detects data corruption
when trying to read the data.

How can I find out which files have been compromised by this error? This
is necessary because the DVD backup happens only to the unused files and
they are deleted from the disk after a successful backup and I have to
recover them before the next tape cycle.

Thank you,

        Gustavo.
