Therefore I assume that I don't need to configure it. However, after modifying the bacula-dir.conf and starting this service I get this message :
"Starting bacula-dir: 21-ago 09:24 bacula-dir: Fatal error: Could not open Catalog "MyCatalog", database "bacula". 21-ago 09:24 bacula-dir: Fatal error: mysql.c:188 Unable to connect to MySQL server. Database=bacula User=bacula It is probably not running or your password is incorrect. 21-ago 09:24 bacula-dir ERROR TERMINATION Please correct configuration file: /etc/bacula/bacula-dir.conf" I assume that I have to create a Bacula database and that's why I executed the scripts create_bacula_database, .... However, I have any Catalog table, Do I have to create it? Also the user ? Although the message seems to warn about it's unable to connect to mysql (this service is on) Please help me, I'm quite lost. Thank you. Aitor.
