Hello,
We have two storage daemons, one with local disk and a tape archiver and
one with local disk only. What is the best way to get data from the sd with
disk only (sd2) to the one with the tape archiver (sd1)?
I tried setting up a migrate with the Next Pool of the sd2 Pool to point to
the tape pool of sd1, but the sd1 box tried to find the disk device on sd2
locally to sd1:
19-Aug 14:11 sd1-sd: Failed command:
19-Aug 14:11 sd1-sd: host0-fd-migrate.2007-08-19_14.11.55 Fatal error:
Device "sd2-file" with MediaType "SD2File" requested by DIR not found in
SD Device resources.
19-Aug 14:11 sd1-dir: host0-fd-migrate.2007-08-19_14.11.55 Fatal error:
Storage daemon didn't accept Device "sd2-file" because:
3924 Device "sd2-file" not in SD Device resources.
What's the best way to get data off of sd2 onto sd1, keeping the catalog
sane?
