During my first full backup of my Windows XP Laptop, I got the following: 09-Aug 10:35 hipparchus-fd: Hipparchus.2007-08-09_09.23.41 Error: Read error on file C:/Program Files/Starry Night Pro Plus 6/Sky Data/AllSkyImage/C16/C16F2T0208.dds. ERR=Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
I know at a basic level what this means, but I don't understand what it causing it or what it means on a practical level for me. Did I get a network glitch? Did the client choke? Is the original file corrupt? Is the drive possibly going bad? TIA, roland -- PGP Key ID: 66 BC 3B CD Roland B.
