thought this might be interesting to you, Carsten, and maybe others who
use vchanger from the Bacula Removable Disk Howto.

The issue described in my previous mails has been resolved. Granted, I
am an idiot.

The Howto states the following device section in the storage daemon
example configuration:

Device {
  Name = <name>
  DriveIndex = <index>
  Autochanger = yes;
  DeviceType = File
  MediaType = File
  ArchiveDevice = <device>
  RemovableMedia = no;
  RandomAccess = yes;
}


Of course, it must say "RemovableMedia = yes;" instead. Otherwise bacula
cannot know that the magazine is removable. doh.
Works like a charm now.
