After not using Bacula for quite a while (a little over a year) due to leaving the job in which I was using it, I'm finally getting it up and running at my new place of work.
I know the discussion happens every now and then, but I was looking for a while to dynamically include sections in bacula-dir.conf. The docs say that @ can be used anywhere, but that's only for including files. What I'm looking for is including directories. The bar | is used to execute scripts, but right now it only seems to support being used in file lists (at least according to the docs). How hard would it be to have it support being used anywhere in the config file? Then I could do something like this at the end of my bacula-dir.conf: | sh -c cat /etc/bacula/clients.d/*.conf Guess I'll have to take a look at the source. j -- Joshua Kugler Lead System Admin -- Senior Programmer http://www.eeinternet.com PGP Key: http://pgp.mit.edu/ ID 0xDB26D7CE PO Box 80086 -- Fairbanks, AK 99708 -- Ph: 907-456-5581 Fax: 907-456-3111 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
