Ok, tried that. Added "CONFIGURE_ARGS+= --with-qwt=/usr/local/lib" also
(yes, qwt-5.0.1, libqwt.so.5 is installed there indeed), but I see in 
configuration summary: "enable-bat: no". I don't see any errors/warnings 
about bat or qt in configure though.

Any other suggestions?
