Hello,

We've been using bacula for a long time now and plan to expand its usage to
a new group of servers, managed by a different group of system admins.

It will still be the same bacula server which will be doing the backup but I
think we'll set up some acls to isolate access to the relevant servers when
running a console.

My question is : Is it relevant to create a separate catalog for this group
of servers ?

(
On a security level and maybe on a performance level too as our catalog is
already quite big :

After dbcheck and table optimization, I get :
ls -ltrh /var/lib/mysql/bacula | tail
   -rw-rw----  1 mysql mysql  30M May 20 11:24 Filename.MYD
   -rw-rw----  1 mysql mysql  27M May 20 11:25 Filename.MYI
   -rw-rw----  1 mysql mysql 625M May 20 11:32 File.MYD
   -rw-rw----  1 mysql mysql 309M May 20 11:40 File.MYI
)

Thanks in advance,
