Hello,

As you know I am no longer "subscribed" to the bacula-users list. However, I
do occassionally try to read some of the email on that list, but am not able
to answer. As such I would appreciate your help in either forwarding email to
the bacula-devel list or asking the user to copy it to the bacula-devel list,
IF it is a development issue.

There are quite a number of development issues, but the most common ones are:
users offering to do translations, submitting patches, making important
comments on beta releases, and programmers wishing to become developers or
otherwise help with the project.

We would appreciate not getting requests for support from users that can be
best answered on the bacula-users list, but any of you who have been actively
answering questions for users for a long time (6 months or so) should feel
free to address your technical questions to the bacula-devel list for help
since the better you are informed, the better you will be able to help
others.

If you are reasonably sure that something is a bug, please encourage users to
file a bug report in bugs.bacula.org. At worse, I will close the bug report
as "not a bug", but at least we won't miss being notified of something
important.

I recall someone offering to do a Spanish translation. If that person is
still interested, please send an email to the bacula-devel list.

Thanks.

Best regards,

Kern
